PVC Tile Installation Overview

① UPVC tiles should be installed with proper purlin spacing to prevent deformation, leakage and cracking of the tiles.

It is recommended that the roof purlin spacing should not exceed 800 mm for 3 mm sheets, and the spacing should be appropriately reduced when the sheet thickness is reduced.

② Because the wave height of the circular corrugated tile is much smaller than that of the trapezoidal wave, the circular corrugated tile must take two waves in the transverse lap, and the ordinary trapezoidal tile only needs to take one wave. However, when the span

of the building is more than 24 meters, the trapezoidal tile is recommended to use a highwave trapezoidal tile, and the circular waveform tile transverse lap needs to take three waves, otherwise in the strong wind and heavy rain, it may cause the water on the tile

surface is not timely, and there is water leakage at the joint of the two tiles.

③ If self-tapping screws are used to fix the tile surface, drill holes in advance. The diameter of the holes must be 2 to 3mm larger than the screw diameter. It is recommended to use reaming screws for convenience.

④ No matter what type of UPVC tile is used, the screw must be installed at the crest of the wave to prevent water leakage. It is recommended to install the screw with waterproof accessories when locking. The waterproof accessories can enhance the waterproof, wind, and corrosion protection effect of the lock nail.

⑤ When paving roofing tiles, do not fix screws from both ends and then lock nails in the middle; If both ends are fixed first, there is no space for tile expansion, which can easily lead to tile surface distortion and deformation; It should be fixed at one end

first and paved in the direction to reduce the stress generated by the tile surface, thus extending the service life of the tile.

⑥ If the hermitage roof, the roof needs to install the ridge tile, be sure to calculate the Angle of the ridge tile, so as not to be due to the Angle of the ridge tile and the ridge Angle does not match, forcing the lock nail during installation and ridge tile

stress, the plate in the process of use, long-term expansion and stretching is easy to release the stress at the lock nail and cause fracture. The correct installation method:

first place the ridge tile, adjust the horizontal position of the two slopes through the ridge tile, and then fix it in turn.
